Superior
optics and light weight were the most important demands on the lenses Preutz
wanted to glaze his product with. After a series of tests, Pentax became
the ideal choice. The range of lenses in indexes 1.67 and 1.60 are up to
45 percent thinner and lighter than standard resin lenses! The Pentax lenses
have a superior optic function thanks to the advanced aspheric surface design,
called Retina Forward Design (RFD). The goal of the design is that the image
should always be perfect on the retina, even when looking through the peripheral
areas of the lenses where traditional lenses give distortions. Another advantage
with RFD is that the eyes of the wearers of high-strength lenses are not
distorted, i.e. magnified or reduced. Your eyes will appear clearer through
the lenses thanks to the Super Multi Coat (SMC) that reduces reflections
to a minimum.

Staffan
Preutz had a stroke of genius when he discovered an extreme material used
in the space industry. The unique combination of elasticity, flexibility
and the ability to be shaped and to retain its shape was exactly what
he had been looking for. The problem was that the material could not be
welded or soldered with existing techniques. Preutz solved this problem
with an ingenious design! Staffan Preutz eyewear consists of no less than
four different materials forming one piece that has all the functions
Preutz wanted to achieve. The patent is proof of the news value! The eyewear
fulfills the demands of nickel-safe materials according to the German
standard DIN 1811.
